Episode 5: Charl Aroha
Welcome back, and thanks for tuning in to the first season of th #TYMPodcast, diving deep into the different medicines millenials take to find the confidence to live in their truth!
This episode was expansive, and it felt like we danced with a range of mindset + embodiment topics.
Charl Aroha is a multi-dimensional human being passionate about exploring the edges of the human experience. He’s a father to three beautiful children, sound healer, and the founder of Serenity Float Clinic, a healing centre in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton) that offers floats, ice baths, infrared saunas, massage and resilience training.
In this episode, we talk about his experiences growing up in Apartheid South Africa, and the impact it had in terms of racism. Charl shares his experiences unprogramming and relearning in chaos, and we dive into chats about trauma, self-sabotage, abundance, self-love, and fear.
My favourite bit? His chats on being in a “resourceful” or “unresourceful” state.
