Come breathe with me
This is a room where people come to get out of their heads and back into their bodies - to release what they've been carrying, and to remember what they already know. Some have been before. Some are coming for the first time, a little unsure of what to expect. All are welcome.
Community breathwork workshop: Embrace your authentic self
Sunday 20 September | 2pm - 5pm | Sun Salute, Hamilton
Beneath the roles you hold, expectations you carry, and version of yourself you've learned to present to the world is the most whole, unedited, and powerful version of you - and they have always been there.
Over time, most of us have learned to soften our edges, shrink our needs, and perform a version of ourselves that feels safe or acceptable - and in the process, the truest version of who we are gets buried under the weight of who we think we should be.
This session is an invitation to set them free.
Through Breathwork, you'll move beneath the surface of the everyday and into direct contact with the part of you that has never needed to perform - unlocking your innate capacity for self-compassion and learning how to harness it to embrace imperfection, find strength in vulnerability, and show up wholeheartedly in all aspects of your life.
If you've been living a little smaller than you know you're capable of, this is for you.
What happens in the room
Over 3 hours, you’ll receive:
>> Trauma-informed education on the nervous system, stress responses and trauma
>> A 60 minute Breathwork journey, guided the whole way through, and designed to help you breathe fully and move energy through your system
>> A daily practice to take home
>> Space to sit in circle with other like-valued humans for collective healing
Breathwork is active emotional processing. During a session, your body does what it's been waiting to do - release stored emotions, close stress cycles, and access what's been sitting just below the surface. Some people cry, others shake, and a few feel nothing at all. All of that is okay - you'll experience what your system is ready for.
Over the past few years, I've guided almost 250 people through Breathwork workshops. Most people leave feeling more empowered, creative, aligned, connected to themselves, and trusting of their own instincts. Many are still drawing on the transformations they experienced months and years later - it shows up in how they parent, how they work, and how they move through their relationships.
The practicalities
It matters to me that this room is accessible, so tickets are sliding scale - $55 minimum, $99 recommended. The lower end is there for a reason. If that's what makes it possible for you to be here, use it.
If you're in a position to pay the recommended price, your contribution helps keep that access open for others. I trust you completely to choose what's right.
Once you book, you'll receive a preparation email so you know what to expect on the day. Check your junk folder if it doesn't arrive. For any questions, email [email protected].
Disclaimer
This is a trauma-informed space. Two facilitators are present for the full session. You will be held, checked in on, and never left to navigate it alone.
People are often nervous ahead of their first Breathork session, though by the second, they feel much more at ease. I am a certified trauma-informed facilitator, and along with my co-facilitator, we tailor your Breathwork Journey to your nervous system and stage of practise with Breathwork.
We’ll never push your system toward a big, cathartic release. What you’ll find here is a softer, more feminine approach that invites you to soften, surrender, and trust your BodyMind system.
We're trained to guide you through a range of natural and normal responses, including processing trauma in a way that doesn't overwhelm your nervous system. We use titration for this, and empower you with knowledge to be your own healer in the journey. You are powerful. You have what you need, and you can move through whatever comes up for you. Our job is to make the space feel safe enough for what's real to come alive, and to affirm your ability to move through it.
Breathwork is not safe for everyone. Please carefully read the Waiver below to ensure you aren't experiencing any contraindications. Your safety is my number one priority as your Breathwork Practitioner.
